These are the typical wines of one of the regions with the highest average quality production in Italy. South Tyrol gives us emotions with aromatic wines made from typically mountain grapes.
Varieties such as Gewurtztraminer, Muller Thurgau, Silvaner, Sauvignon blanc, etc... wines that offer sensations of great pleasantness with excellent freshness and mineral saltiness. Grapes that breathe the fresh breezes of the Dolomites and are preserved from the significant temperature swings that still resist the summer tropical heat here. Temperature differences that ensure the aromatic profile and elevate it to its maximum potential.
Termeno is a bit of the homeland of
Traminer, which in South Tyrol we find in its "Spicy" form, gewurtz indeed.
A wine that smells of elderflower and maintains a distinctly spicy sensation of pepper and intriguing sweet spices. It is a wine that has its own musicality because it contrasts the acidic notes of mountain products with a beautiful glyceric component and roundness, featuring always beautifully ripe fruit and a very pleasing floral quality.
Muller Thurgau is always a typically South Tyrolean wine with very pronounced soft and fruity sensations. It is said to be very popular among women, although it is a stereotype from which we should increasingly distance ourselves. Nevertheless, there is no doubt that it is a wine that always offers beautiful acidity and a well-defined floral and fruity character. Acacia and jasmine flowers with exotic fruit and lychee. Apricot and peach complement a gentle spiciness and a sensation of wild mint. Again, an excellent wine for aperitifs. Fresh, savory, summery. Definitely contemporary!!
