Great BIO weekend in Bologna.

When this fair started, it was supported only by an important commercial organization of BIO products in Italy. The absolute pioneer, the ECOR group. Today, however, it is becoming a benchmark for all Italian organic producers and, above all, an important place for dialogue and commercial exchanges between consumers, operators, and the market.
SANA in Bologna will be held from Saturday, September 12 to Tuesday, September 15, and there is already a boom in pre-registrations for operators and the press, along with a significant demand for online ticket bookings from visitors.

The growth of Organic in Italy is a continuous flow that started in 2005 and has now reached truly incredible percentage values. The turnover of BIO product sales abroad has increased by 337% from 2008 to 2014. A bit slower in Italy but also progressive, +91% in the same period. The data were provided by the Nomisma Observatory and also report another important figure; in 2014, sales of certified organic agri-food products abroad amounted to 1.4 billion euros.
These are all data that will be analyzed in the various conferences and workshops dedicated during the event.

The data also confirms a great proactivity from the BIO world online through sales channels like our e-commerce where consumers can find both fresh and packaged products. Online sales are perceived much more positively by organic consumers than by conventional ones.
However, this attitude must be characterized by important and serious communication of the product with reliable and verifiable texts.
