Giusti Wine: a company between future and tradition

The Cantina Giusti is a estate capable of maintaining a perfect balance between past and future. Founded in 2004 by its founder Ermenegildo Giusti, a Canadian entrepreneur who fell in love with Italian wine, it now owns over 75 hectares of vineyards purchased in the Montello. In this hilly area, surrounded by woods famous for the timber used since the era of the Serenissima for shipbuilding, the Giusti Wine wines are produced: typical products of this territory.

Their main production is Prosecco: DOC and DOCG. The latter designation is due to a wine that follows strict and stringent production criteria: it is produced in only three regions throughout Italy, including that of the Colli Asolani. The cultivation in hilly areas requires special attention to manual labor, significantly reducing automated work. Additionally, the hilly area, rich in iron minerals, gives the wine a natural longevity, unusual for a Prosecco.

In addition to Proseccos, Giusti Wine boasts a production of typical reds from the territory and the cultivation of some French grape varieties brought to Montello: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Completing the picture are the Pinot Grigio, typically Venetian, and the Chardonnay, chosen by Giusti Wine for the strong international demand.

The strength of these wines lies in the foundational idea: the territory. Giusti Wine is indeed a company that strongly believes in the specificity of this area, in its unique and unrepeatable peculiarities.

Among the vineyards of the estate in the heart of Montello, there is one in particular that is nearly a century old: a small vineyard made up of ancient plants, once besieged by the forest, now cleared and fully restored by the company. A place that embodies historical memory, which will be celebrated with a harvest and with a limited and exclusive production, a symbol of tradition and care for the past.

Next to this historical gem, there are two cloned varieties of grapevines, two varieties of Sauvignon Blanc studied and created specifically to resist diseases. Two types, therefore, naturally stronger, that will allow for wine production free from chemical components. An example of technology at the service of nature.

The Giusti company chooses to preserve the natural biodiversity of Montello: a natural balance that makes the vineyards stronger, a rarity to be preserved to offer enthusiasts a wine unique in the world.
