We are thrilled to announce that we have reached a special agreement with one of the most beautiful Italian food realities, and in particular, with Modica chocolate. Tavoletta d'Oro has been awarded as the best Modica chocolate for five consecutive years: Sabadì is an Italian gem of cocoa craftsmanship nestled between stones and the sea in Modica in the Ragusa area.

Sabadì: a reverse migrant

It tells a beautiful story of a man, Simone Sabaini, a reverse migrant who left Verona and arrived in Sicily, a land that captivated him and offered him a sort of spiritual lifeblood to finally give a meaningful sense to his life. Sun, sea, wind, and sun-scorched land are the foundational elements of this extraordinary chocolate-flavored project.

Simone comes from a long and significant experience in fair trade, and all his background has helped link two work lives and two experiences rich in humanity. All the chocolate indeed comes from an extraordinary selection from farms of farmers in Ecuador according to a fair and supportive principle of income redistribution.
