Zu Plun: the Dol Gin declared the best gin "with eyes closed"

The award-winning Dol Gin is born in the Dolomites in the Alpe di Siusi. Florian Rabanser, hotelier and now an award-winning distillate producer, after transforming the Zu Plun farm in Siusi from a 14th century refuge into a model agricultural complex, has undertaken painstaking work, made up of research and passion, to create his own distillery.
 
So in his “stratospheric” cellar, he selects, macerates and processes the herbs to transform them into distillates with divine aromas. These are grappas, quintessences of fruit, balsamic vinegar, natural and artisanal alchemy, which have already seen prestigious awards at events such as the Vienna and Salzburg Distillate and the Golden Still in Italy.
But Florian Rabanser won the most ambitious prize with gin.
 
His recent creature to be tasted without a doubt with pleasure, Dol Gin, received the highest score in the silver category by the jury of the International Wine
