Alba Vitae 2017: Zanovello signs AIS Veneto's solidarity.

The dawn of a new life, the renewal of the Christmas spirit that passes through the virtuous act of solidarity. The Italian Sommeliers Association (AIS) of Veneto renews the beautiful year-end initiative to support charitable works and volunteer associations, among the ancient lands of the Doges. An appointment that goes straight to the heart!

Alba Vitae every year gives concrete hope to women and men who daily experience the act of serving others, the free donation to those who are less fortunate, to those who bring smiles to those who suffer. A provincial delegation of Sommeliers selects a wine every year from the Venetian excellences to elevate it in magnum and offer it for sale until the end of the year. The success is growing, and in the last two years, participation has been massive: a testament that Alba Vitae unites and involves everyone. An example of how all members of the prestigious association share the great choices in a massive and filial manner.

The great work that the regional president of AIS Marco Aldegheri is doing has been crucial in launching this humanitarian and solidarity initiative. The strength of the group, the determination and seriousness of the programs, the humility and dedication of the governing bodies: strongly innovative elements that make AIS Veneto one of the most organized in Italy.

It’s the results that count, and what has moved Alba Vitae is simply exceptional. A revenue that increases every year and becomes substantial to give courage and efficiency to essential reception structures in their territory. This year the venetian Sommeliers have chosen for Alba Vitae 2017 a must of the Venetian wine production. A wine that is identified with a particular territory: the Colli Euganei. Our blue mountains of Veneto, as they are affectionately called. In particular, the choice has fallen on a winery that in recent years has offered quality and valorization of its land: Cà Lustra Zanovello is a decidedly identity-driven company of the Colli Euganei. Its labels remain unmistakable with an ethnic-rural style. The Moscato, then, is the Zanovello grape, the grape recognizable in the Euganean lands and vice versa.

Alba Vitae chooses the ancient and volcanic Veneto where the Moscato grape tells the story of archaic and proud winemakers. The quality of the wine is decidedly high, substantial: a product born from the love and passion that the Zanovello family dedicates each year to a dream that never ends. From the care of man for the land to the vineyard that takes care of man. This is the deep and simple meaning of Alba Vitae.

The sale of the bottles of Dry Moscato ‘A Cengia will support the Young People in Motion Association of Rovigo, a nonprofit dedicated to social assistance for small disabled individuals and creating pathways that promote their well-being, personal growth, autonomy, and independence.

The Magnum of 'A Cengia will belong to the vintage 2016 but will be accompanied by two bottles of 0.75 liters from the vintages 2014 and 2015. AIS Veneto therefore proposes a tasting journey through the years. A small vertical of the same wine to grasp all the value of longevity that only these lands can guarantee.
