In Villafranca Sicula, in the province of Agrigento, we chose a small farmer, Vito Perricone, who produces the freshest organic Ribera DOP oranges.
In an enchanted valley, where the fresh salty sea breeze blows, the extraordinary Ribera DOP oranges are born.

Ribera DOP Oranges: a remedy for fatigue
The oranges are still ripening on the trees, so we can still stock up on all their wellness power. They are a goldmine of easily assimilated vitamins, excellent for strengthening our immune system. In winter, they ward off health troubles, and in spring, they lift our spirits. They are great for those who suffer from drowsiness and fatigue, for those who are prey to the "spring syndrome," as psychiatrists call it.
They are very rich in vitamins C and A, and many from the B group. By consuming 2-3 oranges a day, you will meet your body's daily needs. Other benefits of oranges that will help you during this period include their anti-stress effect and their ability to reactivate metabolism, thanks to their high content of selenium, calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium. In short, it would be great to never stop eating this extraordinary fruit.

Use the whole orange, even the peel
Our oranges are excellent eaten in segments, but we recommend squeezing them and refreshing them with ice crystals and two mint leaves. Also, don’t throw away the peels; they are organic and therefore untreated. Grate them on a salad or a nice carpaccio of fresh radishes. If you want to indulge a bit, cut the peel into julienne strips, candy them, and then dip them in some dark chocolate...have fun!!
