Home delivery in Verona: we at S&M want to try it!

In this delicate moment of health emergency caused by the relentless advance of the Coronavirus, we at Spaghetti & Mandolino, in addition to providing online grocery shopping directly to the homes of Italians with express courier delivery, want to try to offer an additional service to the community by adding home delivery. We will start from some areas of our province: Verona.

It's not a simple service, but we want to try. We want to do this because supermarket and transport workers are under tremendous work stress, risking exposure to infection every day. Just like all citizens who have to leave their homes to go grocery shopping when they should instead stay home. That's why we decided to lend a hand.

Of course, we must necessarily begin to provide this service only to certain areas of our province, Verona, as already mentioned.

Delivery days will be from Monday to Saturday.
Being a trial service, this page may undergo continuous updates from day to day.

HOW OUR HOME DELIVERY WILL WORK

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

What you need to do will be what you always do: visit our online catalog, choose your favorite products, put them in the cart, and purchase. But be careful because there are two very important things you need to do to have groceries delivered at home if you are from Verona: first, you will have to pay either by bank transfer, card, or PayPal for your order (so we do not accept cash on delivery to avoid contact with cash), and then you must check the "home delivery" box at step 2 of the cart.
If you want to benefit from free home delivery, you just need to spend over 30 euros. Under 30 euros, there will be the usual cost of 5.10€.
Nothing could be easier. 

WHAT WE WILL DO

Once we receive your order, one of our staff will try to determine when it can be fulfilled. This is based on the type of product you have chosen, where it is coming from, and any delays that the shippers might face in getting it to our warehouse, where we will prepare your package. Once this is done, we will contact you and try to agree on the day of delivery, which can take place from Monday to Saturday. If a product does not arrive on time, our staff will call you to ask whether you want the delivery to proceed without that product or they will ask for another possible day for delivery. Being a trial service, we ask for your patience if this happens: we strive to work every day to offer an ever-better service, and for this, we must also learn from mistakes.
