This could be the motto of Ricetta91, a project born from a story of friendship, passion, and genuine values, inspired by the land of the Colli Euganei in Monselice, in the province of Padua. The protagonists of our story are Matteo and Luca, two boys who have been friends since childhood, united by the same indelible passion for nature and good food, understood as tasty and healthy. Ricetta91: the values at its core

The story of Ricetta91 begins with a long friendship between Matteo and Luca. Friends forever, despite having different backgrounds and paths, Matteo and Luca share the same passion for nature and good food. Thus, the idea was born to create something personal to give substance to their passions. A dream takes shape, which today can be called Ricetta91.

The main goal is to offer healthy and genuine food, mainly using top-quality raw materials, all cultivated and processed directly on the farm. However, Matteo and Luca have a project that goes far beyond production.
The two young men, fully aware of the importance of safeguarding the territory, decided to combine quality and tradition with respect for the environment, paying particular attention to operate
sustainably from both a water and energy perspective. Is there perhaps a better way to pay homage and thank the Colli Euganei? In fact, it is the land of this region that allows for 100% natural production, with no chemical additives whatsoever.
An added value to production is provided by Matteo and Luca, who, once the raw materials are collected, work to transform them within 24 hours, preserving freshness and taste while ensuring the highest quality of the final product. And this is precisely why Ricetta91 products represent the best that can be brought to the table every day, both at breakfast and during meals: vegetable jams, fruit jams, preserves, and syrups.

Matteo and Luca use the typical recipes of Venetian culinary tradition, reviving those lost flavors and aromas that characterized their childhood, but attempting to reinterpret them in a modern way so that they stand out for their freshness.

Let’s meet Luca and Matteo

We now have to meet the two creators of this ambitious project, worthy of praise also for the young age of its creators: both Luca and Matteo were born in 1991. But where does their passion for the art of good cooking come from?
Luca, in reality, comes from a very different background from the agricultural and culinary world. Graduated in Law from the University of Padua, he decided to pursue a passion that emerged in his early childhood. In fact, even as a child, he worked on the family farm as a helper, immediately connecting with agriculture and nature.
Not much different is Matteo's story: he graduated in Management Engineering from the University of Padua before continuing at the Polytechnic University of Turin and has been helping his grandfather with the cultivation of the family garden and fields since he was a child.
In short, in both cases, it’s a passion that was born in childhood.

A few years after completing their studies, they decided to join forces and give life to Ricetta91, whose name embodies the company philosophy: the word recipe indicates that the products are the result of ancient traditional recipes reinterpreted in a modern key, while 91 is the year of birth that unites them.

Today, the goal is to amaze the market with the quality that only those who control the entire supply chain can guarantee. Matteo and Luca strongly believe in organic and are now awaiting certification. The raw materials undergo no chemical treatment, thus creating natural products without additives or colorings, with low sugars and truly genuine, and, above all, totally sustainable, as neither pesticides nor chemical fertilization are used. But now, let’s discover their products!


The products of Ricetta91, mixes of vegetables to enjoy!

The first product we present is the green tomato jam, a healthy and genuine product, but above all very tasty. The tomatoes, harvested at mid-ripeness, are processed within 24 hours, leaving them to macerate with sugar and homemade white wine for at least 12 hours. Finally, a slow cooking process is carried out until the desired density is reached. The green tomato jam is truly strong and is perfect on toasted bread, paired with an excellent glass of sparkling wine and good aged pecorino or similar cheeses, but also alongside grilled meats or roasts. This jam is perfect for an authentic and sophisticated aperitif thanks to the perfect balance between the acidity of the green tomato and sweetness.

A must is the pomegranate syrup, a concentrate of flavor that is truly versatile. Produced from high-quality Wonderful pomegranates, hand-seeded and cold-pressed to preserve their color and properties, it is a sort of pomegranate molasses obtained by boiling the juice of the seeds and thickening it with sugar.
Pomegranate syrup is an authentic product with ancient origins. In the past, it was indeed an ancient remedy against coughs, which is why having a jar of it in winter is a must. Additionally, pomegranate syrup is a basic ingredient in many Middle Eastern recipes. It is also perfect as an accompaniment to super aged cheeses (Stravecchio, Grana Padano, etc.) and aged Pecorino. In short, it’s truly a versatile product!

The pepper jam is a product for all lovers of this delicious summer vegetable. For its preparation, yellow, red, and green peppers are used, harvested and processed within 24 hours, then cut and left to macerate for at least 2 hours and 30 minutes. Pepper jam is a perfect product for breakfast or as an ingredient for cakes, ice creams, and omelets, and it is also highly recommended with semi-aged cheeses and roast meats.

Now let’s move on to the red beet jam. Red beet is a vegetable that is often difficult to appreciate but which, if you don’t like it, you may reevaluate thanks to this genuine and tasty jam. The secret of this jam is that it uses few but quality ingredients. The beets are left to macerate for 12 hours and then cooked for at least 3 hours.
The result is a jam rich in color and soft in flavor, perfect for the finest palates. To taste all its nuances, it is recommended to pair it with fresh and soft cheeses, but due to its delicacy, it also goes well with white meats.

The last product aimed at lovers of strong flavors is the extra red onion jam, which is left to macerate for over 12 hours and then cooked for at least two and a half hours with a bit of sugar. The result is a sweet and sour sauce perfect with super aged cheeses (Stravecchio, Grana Padano, etc.) and Pecorino, but also with medium-aged cheeses like Monte Veronese Stravecchio di Malga or Bagoss di Bagolino. It’s also perfect as an accompaniment to grilled meats or winter boiled platters, this jam will bring color to your lunches and your aperitifs.
