Spritz Hugo is an aperitif to enjoy with the coolest and trendiest friends.
Typical of Trentino Alto Adige, it is spreading in northern Italy and is becoming a topic of discussion. Is the Spritz Aperol-Campari better, or the Spritz Hugo? What is its secret?
Spritz Hugo, although not well-known, is becoming a worthy opponent of the classic aperitif.
But is it really worthy? Let’s find out how it’s made and what the ingredients are!
Produced with
elderflower syrup, it presents a light and fragrant taste, great for summer thanks to its thirst-quenching and refreshing properties. The low alcohol concentration enhances the fresh aroma of elderflower, and the mint leaves add a balsamic note.
Easy to make, you just need a
Asolo Prosecco Superiore, the elderflower syrup, a splash of seltzer if you want to lighten it up, and to finish, garnish with a few mint leaves and a lemon peel.
Since it is rarely found, especially in central and southern Italy, we offer a tailored pack with quality ingredients to make it yourself; and since we are organic by nature, we couldn’t choose anything but an organic syrup!
Once purchased, all you have to do is choose a nice wine glass,
add a few ice cubes, pour 3/10 of elderflower syrup and 7/10 of prosecco, and mix everything together.
