From seed to table”: here is the slogan of Pasta Natura, which in a few words indicates what is the heart of the activity itself. Control of the supply chain, cultivation of different crops on their land, immediate cereal processing and slow and natural drying of grains at low temperatures: these are the simple actions that make Pasta Natura products great.

Thanks to artisanal production, it is possible to monitor every single step to guarantee a high quality product to the end customer. The goal is to provide good and healthy food to all people who have decided to eat carefully, following a balanced diet free of gluten, cholesterol and added sugar. So here is the purpose of the company: to rediscover the goodness of the Mediterranean diet thanks to products based on healthy and genuine ingredients.

Just a few kilometers from Cuneo, one of the most important cities in Piedmont, you can find the headquarters of the Pasta Natura company, where the products are made thanks to sustainable, organic and completely GMO-free agriculture. The land where the cereal and legume plants used by the company are cultivated are located a few kilometers from the Villafalletto pasta production site. The different hectares used for the purpose are cultivated by skilled collaborators, allowing the production of several tons of grains that are stored a few moments after harvest. The time that goes from the artisanal production of pasta to the packaging of the finished product is very minimal. Pasta Natura is in fact a great example of a short supply chain.

Pasta Natura has set itself the goal of producing Gluten Free and organic pasta with the use of special flours that are naturally gluten-free. This is a goal created in response to the needs of people with celiac disease, whose number is increasing.

We like these artisans, these producers of unique, certified and award-winning delicacies: they are real treasures embedded in our Peninsula between seas and mountains and in the most remote streets of villages and countryside.   • Is the company family run? What year was the company founded and who was the founder?
    Pasta Natura is a Start Up, founded in 2016 and is family-run.
  • Who was the founder and what was his training or what is the branch of work and professional from which he came if different from the current one?
    Pasta Natura was founded in 2016. The founding partners Fulvia Ruata, her husband Nicholas L'Abbate and father-in-law have always worked in the food business. For this reason and thanks to their knowledge of the food sector, they decided to jump into a new experience.
  • What is the real reason or the triggering fact behind the birth of this company and when did it happen?
    Pasta Natura was created to offer a quality product, made in Italy, even to those who, for various reasons, are forced to change their eating habits. Pasta Natura produces only gluten-free products suitable for celiacs and gluten-intolerant people but wants to address everyone.
  • What is your relationship with the land of origin and its typicality? And why do you want to tell them with your products?
    The slogan of Pasta Natura is from seed to table. This slogan embodies the philosophy of our products and our company. Most of the raw materials we use in the production of our products are of Italian origin, and wherever possible Piedmontese.

  • What is the product that today, on the other hand, do you consider “top”?
    Our best-selling product is undoubtedly Amaranth Teff and Quinoa pasta, a particular product that is close in taste and texture to classic durum wheat pasta. In the last period, there has also been strong growth in the sale of types of pasta with legumes. People are increasingly attentive to what they put on the table and natural pasta like ours is perfect for those who want to follow a certain type of diet.
  • And what is the product that in the entire history of the company has most carried with it the beating heart, philosophy and soul of the company itself?
    In reality, all our products reflect the philosophy of our company. Natural, Gluten Free and suitable for the whole family.
  • Let's talk about today: how big has the company grown since its inception? Can we get some numbers?
    Pasta Natura is a very young company but over the years the growth has been really good. Consider that in just 4 years of activity, because the first sales were made in 2017, today Pasta Natura is present in 29 countries around the world. And in the last year, sales increased by 30%, despite the difficult period.
  • Right now: more tradition or more innovation?
    Tradition and innovation in Pasta Natura merge in order to be able to offer its customers quality but at the same time innovative products.
    As usual, the pasta is bronze-drawn, dried at low temperatures for 24 hours, this static and traditional production process allows us to offer a quality product that maintains all the organoleptic and nutritional qualities of the raw materials used.
  • What was the most important evolution of the company to get it to what it is today?
    Invest in research and development of new products.
  • Speaking instead of the future: what tomorrow will the company wait for? Are there any changes or some new evolutionary process planned?
    We plan to move to a larger production site by summer and we have a few small ideas, no spoilers:)
