Vermentino, a light-skinned variety common in both Sardinia and Liguria, is enjoying particular popularity in America at the moment, and the professor also explains why l&' grape is harvested twice. The resulting Vermentino di Gallura is a delicious soft white wine with bright and refreshing acidity and hints of green apple, citrus and ripe pear. It is l&' the only wine in Sardinia to have obtained DOCG
.The professor also reveals the five best teachings on Sardinian wine from this “Trip”, including tips on where to look for authentic Sardinia, in addition to famous tourist destinations, and l&' the uniqueness of the culture and history of Sardinia, things that students may not have appreciated before, but that now they have l&' obligation to share all over the world!
Finally, to savor the authentic taste of Sardinia, the professor explains that you have to try porceddu, a typical whole pig on a spit.
