Dear #winelover friends,
What is special about the native Italian grape variety Asprinio di Aversa? (C&' it's just 1 correct answer)
The correct answer is 'it grows tall with poplar'.
The Asprinio grape variety, also known as Ragusano, is mainly found in Campania, Caserta and Neapolitan regions. It is a white #autoctono free-standing grape variety that grows attached to, “married” to poplars and mulberries, reaching heights of 10/15 meters. Its harvest is still spectacular today, because it sees “spider-men” as protagonists, collecting the grapes, balancing on
very high stairs. From Asprinio grapes, a light wine is obtained, with a low alcohol content and with &' strong acidity: it is also called “sparkling wine from the south”, because it has a natural propensity for sparkling wine.
