Report on CO2 emissions impact in 2021.

As every year, the Cloudflare report for the year 2021 has been released today (yes, we know, we are in 2023 - but it takes them a while to provide us with this information), which certifies the savings in CO2 emissions due to the use of advanced technologies. After the 172 kilograms of CO2 not emitted in 2020, we managed to save another 99 kilograms in 2021, thus improving our environmental impact.

How much is 99kg and what is it equivalent to? It is equivalent to turning off a light bulb for 14 weeks.

How did we achieve this? By continuously striving for excellence, even in new technologies for maximum performance.

What is Cloudflare? Cloudflare is a software that, if used well, offers a range of services to improve e-commerce performance, such as the use of advanced caching.
 

Other steps towards environmental sustainability

This saving is attributable only to the use of this technology, in the meantime many other aspects have been addressed to improve our impact on the environment such as the elimination of polystyrene from orders, the reduction of printed paper thanks to the order (almost paperless), a meticulous attention to the size of the packaging, in addition to getting closer to our "Waste 0" goal thanks to the collaboration with Too Good To Go.
