Marco Bicocchi Pichi

I was born as a temporary export to Switzerland, raised between Turin, Milan and the Tuscan Maremma, my family roots link me to different regions and vines; Tuscany with Sangiovese, Piedmont with Nebbiolo and Trentino with chardonnay and pinot, the passion for Ferrari and Gilles Villeneuve all'Emilia with Lambrusco. My paternal ancestors were pioneers of the Leopoldine elevations in Maremma since 1851, my maternal ancestors supplied the first car (Diatto) to Enzo Ferrari's family.

The culture of wine and food fascinates me, professionally I have dealt with large retailers and specialties, the export of niche products and new startup companies in the agri-food chain and I am an agricultural entrepreneur. I really love reading Giovanni Negri's wine stories (e.g. The Mystery of Barolo) and watching films about wine trying to find (finally) a really successful one. The story, the stories, the stories and the chatter between friends, how can we not love wine and the table?
