The Agricultural Company Il Poggio was founded in 1987 thanks to the love for the Tuscany that is most authentic and rural, coming from the Gori Bartolini family of San Casciano dei Bagni in the province of Siena. A beautiful farmhouse that rises on a true hill between the Val di Chiana and the Val d'Orcia. Over the years, it has greatly diversified its offerings: quality hospitality, horseback riding at Poggio, catering, and the processing of typical Tuscan products that are deeply rooted in the local identity: legumes, cereals, black pig and Cinta Senese meats, local vegetables, organic oil, and typical local recipes.

The Agricultural Company Il Poggio has about 100 hectares where organic crops live: cereals, fodder, woods, vineyards, olive groves, aromatic herbs, and table vegetables. Among the excellent products: Dop Oil from the Terre di Siena, Rosso del Poggio Igt Toscano Bio, Poggio Corno Rosso Orcia Doc Bio, and Bianco del Poggio. On the western side, in the locality of Le Buche, the Cinta Senese is raised in the wild. In Cantano, the heart of the Company, there is a farm raising organic chickens and a laboratory for transforming agricultural products and Cinta Senese. From organic cultivation, farro is particularly important for its high nutritional value; the Tuscan salami and many other products prepared for the table with Cinta and pork are delicious. The aromatic herbs and vegetables are used by Chef Massimo in the restaurant and in the Laboratory to flavor many preparations of cured meats and cooked dishes. Roberto and Tommaso Gori, with a true passion for agricultural production, offer a careful selection of high-quality products.
