The Ugolini family from Fumane has a long history connected to the vineyard.
In fact, this deep bond with viticulture comes from the maternal side of the family. A close connection with the history of these lands amidst Napoleonic and Austrian dominations.
 

Ugolini Estates: where the vineyards are works of art

Today, the Ugolini family owns 22 hectares of among the most scenic and functional vineyards, all in the Valpolicella Classica, between the municipalities of Fumane, Sant'Ambrogio, San Pietro in Cariano.
All in the beautiful Fumane Valley, one of the cult places for the production of the great Amaroni of Valpolicella.

All come from selected vineyards that over time have gained their own great identity. Il Pozzetto, on the river plain that ascends the valley, Colle San Michele where the extraordinary 1500 property farmhouse is located, Valle Alta a scenic vineyard clinging to the hill from where the grapes for the prestigious Amarone come, Monte Solane, a high altitude vineyard at 550 m; a high plateau lit by the light reflections that dazzle Lake Garda.
Finally, the intimate vineyard of Valle Lena from where the grapes for the Recioto della Valpolicella come. Grapes that touch the land of an ancient small extinct volcano called the Fumana, from which the name of the town and the Valley derives.
 

Ugolini Estates: the philosophy of organic in all wines

Giambattista Ugolini is the director of this beautiful estate that he wanted to be organic and far from any form of mistreatment of nature. The company slogan that has been placed on all the boxes of bottles is as follows: "The Fumane Valley, a powerful and silent soul of our dream. The echo of our land that reaches the heart".
The wines, as we said, are all organic, in a company that since last year has achieved the prestigious result of being included among the Biodiversity Friend realities.
