The Marco Mosconi Agricultural Company is located in the Valle d'Illasi, embraced by the beautiful hills adorned with vineyards, olive groves, and cherry trees. A land characterized by history, art, culture, and food and wine.
The story of Marco Mosconi is one of a young man full of enthusiasm and passion for the winemaking profession. For three generations, his family has cultivated and worked the vineyards, but it was only starting in 2006 that he began to vinify the grapes. Thus, Marco embarks on a journey in search of quality both in the vineyard and in the winery, aiming to achieve depth, elegance, and aromatic precision in his wines.
In the particular microclimate of the Valle d'Illasi, the vineyard has found the ideal conditions to take root, as well as the development of the technique of drying grapes for the production of Amarone and Recioto wines. In this wonderful landscape setting, the vineyards from which the wines of the Soave and Valpolicella denominations are produced are located. The types of soil on which the vines are cultivated are two: alluvial limestone sediments with loamy, sandy, and gravelly textures and limestone marl.
The extent of the property is about 8 hectares of cultivated vineyard, mainly trained in veronese pergola, with an average age of about 40 years.
What distinguishes the wine of Marco Mosconi Agricultural Company?
The virtues of Marco Mosconi wines can be summarized in three adjectives: territorial, personal, and artisanal. This is because they are the expression of the territory and its culture,
because they reflect the personality of the producer, and because they are made with care and respect for tradition. All of this is carried out with respect and understanding of nature and its cycles, through experiments that enhance the vine and the territory of Valle d'Illasi and Valle di Mezzane.
