Azienda Agricola Pratello: scopri i prodotti
L&' Azienda Agricola Pratello not only aims to offer a sip of Garda in every bottle, but it also tries to displace clichés by focusing on unusual vines and complex wines that, often, aim to go beyond &' the identity of the territory to offer itself as an alternative to the more traditional typicality.

Azienda Agricola Pratello: an incredible encounter with nature, simple and incisive

The winery is located on the hills adjacent to Lake Garda, on the Brescia shore, covers an area of 100 hectares in total, of which 45 hectares are vineyards. Since the area is hilly, part of the &' farm is reserved for natural forest, the remaining plots are cultivated with cereals, always with great respect for the &' environment. An incredible encounter with nature, simple and incisive. The hill where l& #39 is structured; the company is located 200 meters above sea level: from here it dominates the entire lake, from Sirmione to Monte Baldo, with breathtaking views. Lake Garda, dozing off, gives off its quiet warmth, and warms the earth, vineyards, olive trees and hearts. Here everything is peace, everything is tradition, the farmers with their wrinkles dug by the sun and the wind speak of ancient experiences and absolute quality, honesty in the products grown in this land, the Brescia shore of the lower Lake Garda
.
Pratello is a &' a company founded in the ranks of tradition, with a long history that has its roots in 1860: they belong to that &' the first news of Pratello as a business unit. Since then, vines and olive trees have been the most important crops. Today the &' company is certified organic: a goal reached in 2004, “a choice imposed by our philosophy of life,” says Vincenzo Bertola, now owner
of &' company.
L&' experience of Vincenzo Bertola, the traditions of Father Dante, together with the expertise of &' agronomist Paolo Di Francesco, make it possible to obtain great products from these plots. Each plot has been carefully studied: structural analysis of the soil, sun exposure, its microclimate, in order to better establish which is the best grape to cultivate, always respecting the compatibility with the
biological regime.
The soil is moraine due to the deglaciation of prehistoric Alpine glaciers, pebbly and very loose, with the presence of clay, ideal for the cultivation of vines, with a very low yield per hectare, but of great quality. The fabulous climate of Lake Garda, acting as a thermal flywheel, creates a microclimate that is of great importance for the maturation of the grapes. All the red grapes are grown in a basin 180 m above sea level, the white grapes on a soft hill with exposure at noon, 250 m. above sea level. Certification of organic agriculture (Mediterranean Certification Institute) throughout &' area of &' company
