Roberto Santopietro can always be found at the most important international fairs for typical Italian products. E&' a tireless promoter of his product and his Monferrato. In fact, in Vignale in the years &' 80 he founded this beautiful reality of transformed earth. A &' adventure that began with a small homemade production for relatives and friends of d& #39 mustard; grapes, peaches in syrup, apricot and plum jams. He had found the recipes in the drawer of the house that his grandmother Palmira had left behind. A discovery that would change his life.
 

Il Mongetto and its products appreciated all over the world


Over time, l&' company manages to penetrate the excellent food market, reaching Milan, Bologna, Venice and Rome. The issue becomes serious and production becomes no longer sustainable by the family. At this point he founded a cooperative where a series of figures who are still part of the staff today are inserted. The children also arrive and this has allowed Mongetto to consolidate a larger market; however, it always remains artisanal. The pleasantness of the products, their naturalness, the quest to keep faith with ancient recipes, elevating flavors of the past without giving in to a desire for contemporary approval, have made Roberto Santopietro and his company an example for many other producers who, in the
