FACCIdabere

FACCIdabere is the brand of a young brewer from Bussolengo, in the province of Verona. Her name is Silvia Facci and she is one of the first 17 female beer producers in Italy.
"I have done various jobs, each of which has left me something, and for the past ten years, I have worked as an office worker, first in the investigation sector and then in construction, until the moment I decided to turn my life around and bet everything on my passion: beer. Contrary to what is usually thought, there are many women who not only enjoy drinking beer, but who know how to choose it, appreciate its value, distinguish its quality, and sometimes even produce it, as in my case."

Four years ago, she started as a homebrewer, taking the time to experiment with new recipes and practice flavors that better represented her. Once she left her office job, she began experimenting as an artisan with craftsmanship, a creative dimension, and with the intention of creating, shaping, and molding a product to make it a small work of art. Thus, in June 2017, the beerfirm FACCIdabere was born.

"The name of the brand comes from my last name, Facci, which my friends have always enjoyed playing with, creating the strangest slogans: Facci sognare, Facci un goal, Facci ridere, Facci un piacere... - Silvia explains to us -. That’s why FACCIdabere: the name of my beer and the way I would like my friends to invite me to drink or to order at the bar."

Silvia thus begins a journey in the world of beer, armed only with her idea, the memory of flavors, and the feminine determination to achieve a result that aligns with her desires. She has immediately clearly understood the intention of giving a precise and characterizing shape to her journey, and perhaps this is the reason that led her to choose a Session IPA as her first label, a complex, refined, and delightful beer.
