The Forno Sereni was established in the early 1900s in a small village near Mantova, where the grandparents of Serena and Laura Ferrari, the current generation managing the company, opened a grocery store and then a small bakery. Over time, the business has transformed into Dolci Sereni, specializing in the production of dry baked goods, and even today, the Ferrari family produces these genuine and ancient recipes in accordance with tradition.
In 2009, Dolci Sereni acquired the Muggia business branch, which includes the spongata, the cake loved by Giuseppe Verdi. The production of these typical sweets maintains, as a constant goal, the use of quality ingredients while respecting the oldest and most genuine recipes of tradition.
