Il Forno Sereni was founded in the early twentieth century, in a small village near Mantua where Serena and Laura Ferrari's grandparents, l&' the current generation that manages L&' company, opened a food store and then a small bakery. The business has been transformed over time, becoming Dolci Sereni, specializing in the production of dry baked goods, and even today, the Ferrari family produces these genuine and ancient recipes with respect for tradition.
In 2009 Dolci Sereni acquired the Muggia business unit, whose recipes include spongata, the dessert loved by Giuseppe Verdi. The production of these typical desserts maintains, as a constant objective, the use of quality ingredients in respect of the oldest and most genuine traditional recipes
