The Tomarchio family can look back on a centuries-old tradition because l&' the homonymous company was founded in Acireale, in the province of Catania, at &' shadow of the Etna volcano, way back in 1920. It all started when Filippo Tomarchio decided to start producing the first artisanal bottle that was distributed “door to door” in small wooden boxes. The soda was packaged, for example, in &' then a very common and characteristic bottle with a ball, that is, with a small glass ball inside. Tomarchio thus took its first steps in the territory of Acireale and then expanded, within about 40 years of activity, throughout the province of Etna and, in the 80s, throughout the region. Today, after more than a century, keeping its roots firmly in Sicily, Tomarchio has extended its borders to the rest of Italy and to 21 countries abroad, establishing itself as a true excellence of Made in Sicily.

Tomarchio drinks best represent the true and authentic taste of the wonderful island that is Sicily. In fact, Tomarchio drinks are prepared, now as then, using only simple and genuine ingredients, a symbol of Sicilianity, so as not to alter their unique and unparalleled taste over time: only the juices of the best freshly squeezed citrus fruits matured in the hot Sicilian sun, the water coming from the slopes of Etna, rich in minerals and with an inimitable taste. Finally, to all this is added an artisanal production that respects the processing method jealously handed down by &' assiduous and passionate work carried out over 100 years by &' the company and three generations of members of the Tomarchio family.

All this affirms even more strongly and clearly the spirit with which this company is dedicated to the artisanal production of top quality, healthy drinks with an inimitable taste, with an eye that is always attentive to &' the environment and the needs of all its consumers. #39

In fact, Tomarchio is strongly committed to ensuring safe products with the utmost respect for the environment and for its consumers. Through constant controls and monitoring of the production chain, their team of experts carries out physical, chemical, microbiological and organoleptic checks throughout the production process of each drink. The latter operate following strict certification controls for processes and products so that they can reach the end customer with all the guarantees of a qualitatively perfect drink. From production to distribution, L& #39 has always been the objective of sustainable development that protects the territory by promoting the reduction of energy and water consumption to contain waste. For all their drinks, Tomarchio uses only raw materials from Sicily, with a short and controlled supply chain.

TOMARCHIO AND THE LINK WITH THE TERRITORY

A small curiosity: in 2011, sharing its mission and vision, Tomarchio also signed the Sicilian Citrus Production District Development Pact, the first regional project to safeguard and enhance the island's citrus heritage. An opportunity that immediately made it possible to establish increasingly virtuous synergies with the actors of the supply chain involved, based on the sharing of the largest and most common project for the defense of raw materials and the territory.
