This farm, whose foundation dates back to 1957, bears the name of the owner Grignano Giuseppe and is based in Xitta, a small hamlet of the municipality of Trapani, in northwestern Sicily. L&' company covers an area of about 5 hectares of land and the main activity, which has been handed down for several generations, consists essentially in the cultivation of olive groves and then, collaterally, in the production of extra virgin olive oil. L&' extra virgin olive oil produced by Grignano in 2002 has even obtained the D.O.P Valli Trapanesi quality certification, a recognition that has made it a symbol of the territory because it is able to contain all the typical flavors and aromas.

The oil they produce is packaged by third parties under the Baglio Legiato brand, a name that recalls the ancient baglio, or an ancient courtyard inside a country residence, around which the cultivation still extends. The baglio overlooks the enchanting Mount Erice, which is the backdrop both to the land where the olive grove is located and to the land intended for the production of non-permanent crops. In fact, the company also grows grain legumes, durum wheat, red garlic, fruits and vegetables with the precise objective of transforming, labeling and marketing all these products in such a way as to expand and diversify its offer.

The olive cultivars cultivated by Grignano are mainly two: Cerasuola and Nocellara del Belice.
