Neptune and the Anchovies of Cetara
Fillets
Since the years &' 50 Nettuno has distinguished itself in the production of anchovy fillets, which in those first years of the life of &' company were distributed even by bicycle; in the middle of the years &' 50, on the other hand, a Lambretta was purchased and two years after the first van, a Fiat 500 c. In the years &' 80 and &' 90 the factory was accompanied by a fishmonger, which was later closed.
The rediscovery of anchovy sauce In the middle of
the years &' 90, the rediscovery of & #39 began in the village; the ancient main condiment of the tables of Cetara, the dripping of anchovies, which over the years rose to national fame and beyond. So most of the efforts of the &' company are focused on this delicious product, without putting in the background, however, all the other seafood products that have characterized our work since its foundation.
Currently, the company is managed by the founder's sons, Vincenzo and Giulio Giordano, who continue their family work with passion, never losing sight of the traditions and the link with the country, in fact the production is linked to the quantities and types of local fish because the products are entirely handmade with exclusively local raw materials. #39
Tradition and territory are the words that Vincenzo and Giulio like the most because “only in this way can we preserve and offer the ancient flavors of Cetara and spread our maritime tradition.”
