Castello di Tassarolo Marchesi Spinola

L&' Castello di Tassarolo Winery located in the Municipality of Tassarolo, in the heart of &' the Gavi area, in Piedmont, has 20 hectares of vineyards surrounding the winery. The cultivated varieties are Cortese di Gavi, Barbera and Cabernet Sauvignon. The viticulture practiced is the biodynamics that guarantees maximum respect for nature.
In 2006, the company began to practice this method of viticulture, which is essentially based on the quality of &' humus and plant health and involves green manure, biodynamic preparations such as Cornoletame and Cornosilice and cumulation. #39 We never use herbicides and chemicals in any form.

The Spinola family has owned the Castle of Tassarolo since 1300. The castle was built around an eleventh century tower and was later expanded and renovated especially during the Renaissance. L&' building below the colonnade is the mint where the Spinola minted coins until the 17th century
