Sadivino

SADiVino is the brand of Società Agricola Orlandi di Predappio, of Cristiano and Simona who have handed down a history spanning 2 generations of winemakers. A passion born from his grandfather Pasqualin, with whom Cristiano spent whole afternoons in the cellar as a child to help him with cavè and vén, “remove the wine”, as they said in dialect to indicate the transfer from vats to demigianas or from demigianas to bottles.

The setting is the territory of Predappio, strongly characterized by the production of excellent grapes and therefore good wine. Since ancient times, vineyards have designed its clay hills, which have been producing robust Sangiovese for centuries. This red wine, typical of the Romagna areas, is produced from &' homonymous grape variety, in the Predappiesi hills it finds its own area d&' choice.

SadiVino: a childish curiosity turns into passion

From his own vineyards, where Cristiano watched curiously as a child, today he produces Sangiovese and Albana grapes.

Production began in 2011 with two IGPs and during these years l&' the business has expanded and new experiences have arrived. To date, the wines in production are six red and two white, all coming from grapes from vineyards located in the hills of Predappio and Predappio Alta.

The wines are three pure Sangiovese wines, one pure Merlot and two cuts with Cabernet and Merlot. The whites are pure Sauvignon and Chardonnay

SadiVino: respect for l&' environment

Cristiano and Simona continue to produce their wines with commitment and passion, while respecting the territory and the peculiarities of each vineyard. The bottles produced at &' year are now 15,000, so it remains a winery with a small production and that still works with artisanal methods, for example, long macerations in trococonic oak vats and manual fulling.

A great sensitivity for nature that is also transformed into artistic sensitivity. Cristiano has, in fact, also launched into an interesting collaboration with the Predappiese artist Grota, born from a meeting in Forlì, during an exhibition by the artist. They were struck by a spark that sparked extreme harmony and since then a collaboration between wines and art has been born. So the symbol of Sadivino, as well as the labels of the wines produced, are signed by Grota
