Captain Kooper is a brand that was born from a wonderful idea born by Andrea Gallottini, a distiller technician who has refined his skills by gaining experience in various realities in the national territory. Willing to realize a very difficult dream, he decides to invest all his time and strength to create a unique and characteristic production.

Captain Kooper: everything starts from a sailboat

That's right, the &' idea of creating the Captain Kooper brand was born during a &' sailing trip between Andrea and some of his friends, who encouraged him to undertake this wonderful adventure and start a production of Gin. The story is very curious: they were moored in Koper, which in Slovenian is called Koper, and it was precisely at that moment that the name 'Captain Kooper' was born, a symbol of the coronation of his dream.
The production of these fantastic distillates has been carefully studied as has the selection of the ingredients. Refined and rare spices are used, Italian botanical specialties such as juniper, orange, coriander, Florentine ireo, absinthe and gentian. These delicacies are macerated in a solution of alcohol and water and are then distilled to obtain the precious distillate. After a period of maturation, they are brought to the right alcohol content and then bottled.

Captain Kooper: a real niche product

A peculiar feature of this brand is the exclusive packaging because the glass is created by hand and then carefully decorated by hand, bottle by bottle. Another fundamental strength of his Ginkooper is precisely the very intense scent that goes almost to balsamic sensations that contrast, together with the softness on the palate, l&' an important alcohol content.
