On the hills of Montalfoglio, a small fraction in the municipality of San Lorenzo in Campo (PU) in the Marche, is located the Azienda Agricola Luca Tenti. The farm overlooks the Adriatic Sea, despite being 25 km away, and the fresh sea breezes favor the production of fruits of extremely high quality.

Azienda Agricola Luca Tenti is a small farm established in 2013, founded with the desire to produce artisanal products, respecting the local peasant tradition and the raw materials used, which come exclusively from its own farms.

Here, grapes are grown, particularly the Aleatico variety that constitutes the Pergola DOC, and the visciole, native cherries from the Marche region.

In December 2019, a new vineyard was established with the aim of safeguarding the old varieties of visciola, recovering native specimens from more than 40 different sites in the region.
The visciola represents the cornerstone product of the farm and is used to obtain many products. Products are always obtained in respect of the true nature of the fruit without adulterating it, respecting the agricultural tradition of the Marche region but with an eye on recent production techniques.

The main product is visciola wine, called Visciola del Lupo, a beverage produced in the Marche countryside as early as the Middle Ages to improve red wines. Today, this elixir is highly appreciated as a dessert or meditation wine, but it also pairs excellently with chocolate and cheese.

The farm develops new quality products every year, such as the recent Cioccovisciola, a spreadable cream made with dark chocolate and visciola wine. Also notable are other visciola-based products such as brandy and beer, as well as jams and juices.
