The Cembrani Consortium brings together five wineries and two distilleries in the Val di Cembra, the beautiful valley that fades towards the city of Trento. This union allows real territorial, cultural and commercial development for the valley, a terraced landscape with more than seven hundred kilometers of dry stone walls. The products created contain the passion of entire generations and the history of a territory cultivated with vines since Etruscan
times.
Consorzio Cembrani: united to promote Val di Cembra
The mission of the Cembrani Consortium focuses on the promotion of &' the territorial uniqueness of the Cembra Valley, its farmers and its excellent productions that contain ancient values of passion, mutuality and dedication as well as the unique pedoclimatic characteristics of the territory: south-east exposure, strong pre-pandemic temperature range and porphyry terrors. In three words: aromaticity, elegance and minerality.
One of the Historical Rural Landscapes d&' Italy and cultivated with vines since the 4th century BC, the Cembra Valley is the oldest cradle of grape cultivation in Trentino, a mosaic of daring terraces supported by 708 km of dry stone walls that today bear the fragrant Müller Thurgau, the intense Pinot Noir and the fresh Chardonnay, ideal for mountain sparkling wines. A short distance from Trento, open to the Fiemme and Fassa valleys and on the axis of the Avisio stream, the valley is considered the gateway to the Dolomites.
The Cembrani Consortium wanted to inspire its logo precisely from the profile of this particular landscape: it represents, in fact, the stylization of a wine glass composed of the initials C and D, filled with the profiles of dry stone walls, lush with vines and lapped by the Avisio river, which over the centuries has eroded the slopes
.
Cembrani DOC wines: the memorable dedication to the
territory
To this end, the Cembrani D.O.C. Consortium has decided to include in a line of blend products the best productions of the associated companies, dedicating the result to the territory itself: 708 km White, 708 km Red and 708 km Grappa. Each company has selected a particular area, vinified the grapes and conferred the wine to the Consortium for the creation of an exceptional blend.
This line represents the excellence of the Cembra Valley, its identity and &' a unit of associated companies, all family-run and whose work protects the landscape and its 708 km of dry stone walls.
