De Faveri Spumanti is a family-run Prosecco winery located in Vidor, a small town in the heart of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Controlled and Guaranteed Denomination of Origin. Its story began in 1978, when it was founded by Lucio and Mirella De Faveri, and continues today thanks to their work and that of their children Giorgia and Giordano
.
De Faveri was born in a territory dedicated to Prosecco
The hills of the province of Treviso, protected by the Dolomites and caressed by the gentle winds coming from the Adriatic side, are the chosen land of Prosecco Superiore, a proudly Venetian product. The term “Prosecco” is first and foremost the name of a grape variety that has always been cultivated in Veneto but gives its best in the hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, where it reaches the best quality level and is adorned with the Controlled and Guaranteed Denomination of Origin.
It is precisely in this area that Prosecco has created a real production system: the District. The Prosecco District of Conegliano Valdobbiadene extends in the hilly area of the province of Treviso between the towns of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, at the foot of the Treviso Prealps.
De Faveri Prosecco brings back the knowledge, knowledge and taste of ancient traditions in a glass. The starting point for making a good wine are the property's vineyards located exclusively in the area of the denomination, from which a valuable and unique fruit is obtained
.
De Faveri Spumanti: a superior quality wine
From 1978 to today, De Faveri has always been committed to complying with all the requirements necessary to make a good wine that incorporates the typical characteristics of Prosecco. An example is the careful selection of the grapes used, their careful processing with hand harvest and the meticulous attention paid during the vinification operations up to the finished product. The efforts demonstrated are reflected in a high quality Prosecco wine, which manages to be perceived by the consumer even among a wide choice such as that offered by the numerous wineries in the area.
L&' company has always worked assiduously, also supporting large investments with one objective: to offer the increasingly demanding consumer a typical, guaranteed product of constant quality. The many years of experience in the world of wine have made Lucio and Mirella understand that the majority of customers prefer their product, obviously not only for a factor of quality and taste, but also for the meanings it transmits. Especially abroad, aspects such as tradition, love for the territory, honesty in business and the availability of those who work within the company are highly appreciated. De Faveri's customers don't just buy bottles of wine, but the result of the commitment of a family that constantly strives to satisfy its target audience.
De Faveri Spumanti today produces Prosecco wine in all its variants: from Treviso Doc to Docg, from Millesimato to Cartizze. She also owns 21 hectares of vineyards (15 of Docg and 6 of Treviso Doc) spread between the municipalities of Valdobbiadene, Vidor and Farra di Soligo. Today, De Faveri wines are sold all over the world and are appreciated every day by consumers, who have always recognized the quality and professionalism of the De Faveri family's work
