The company, with complete organic certification, spans about 15 hectares divided into various plots characterized by different exposures and mineral compositions. Located in the municipality of Casoli (CH), at the foot of the Majella massif and the park of the same name, it sits at an average altitude of 400 meters above sea level.
The lands, near the Aventino River and Lake S. Angelo, benefit from a temperate climate due to their position and are close to the Site of Community Interest (SIC) Lecceta di Casoli and the Colle Foreste forest. The altitude, temperatures, temperature range, and exposure create a unique microclimate, making the company's products unmatchable.
Those who came before us have always cultivated these lands, growing olives, cereals, fodder, and vines. The results, born from daily experience passed down from generation to generation, are now essential values for us.
Tilli: winery and vineyards
The winery, located among the company's vineyards, has been designed with great attention to environmental and architectural aspects. Inside, an underground space is dedicated to the processing of grapes, ensuring ideal conditions for the preservation and aging of wines.
The upper floor, offering a panoramic view of the Majella, is reserved for welcoming visitors and tasting the company's organic products. Experts verify the natural adaptability of the grape varieties to the individual plots, analyzing the soil, microclimate, and exposure. Carefully selected varieties for planting, the best rootstock, and optimal clones are chosen to achieve high-quality production and excellent winemaking.
The vineyards are cultivated with guyot training, with a density of over 4000 vines per hectare. Severe pruning keeps production below 100 quintals per hectare, thus ensuring the highest quality.
