Franciacorta Belonis a winery that, with its Bèlon du Bèlon label, offers you the most valuable Franciacorta wines.
Franciacorta Belon: a sensory experience handed down over generations
The Bèlon du Bèlon label was founded in 2009, strongly desired by Paolo Perin who, after two generations of attentive wine selectors, decided to produce a wine capable of interpreting the terroir with the best characteristics, the most refined grapes and the most sophisticated processing techniques.
He wants to continue the path taken years earlier by his father Umberto, because the world of wines is part of his experience and Bèlon du Bèlon is the product and the destination of this road and the expression of his passion for wine.
A love that translates into the search for the best yield of individual grapes, in constant evolution and transformation, and in the meticulous care of the processing to bring into every single bottle the pleasure of an experience that is handed down.
The Franciacorta Belon company expresses excellence with its Bèlon du Bèlon label. In fact, Bèlon is the best oyster in the world, the flat variety that is refined and collected in the estuary of the Bèlon river, in the western part of Brittany. Bèlon du Bèlon bubbles are simply the pearl of the most precious oyster, the quintessence of Franciacorta.
Nothing more appropriate can define the texture and quality of wines that fascinate with their fine and persistent perlage. Thousands of small bubbles rising to life in the glasses of Bèlon du Bèlon, just like delicate and precious “pearl necklaces”, lively suggestions to evoke magical and effervescent atmospheres at every toast.
Belon du Belon wines: Franciacorta bubbles The Franciacorta
Bèlon bubbles are born in Erbusco in the province of Brescia, under the watchful eye of the Winemaker Cesare Ferrari, a real expert in the classical method who has dedicated an entire life to the land of Franciacorta. This unique and exclusive method allows you to obtain the most valuable results.
The vineyards rise on the Fantecolo hills in Provaglio d'Iseo, in the territory of Franciacorta. Precious grapes so much so that they become DOCG, a reference point for the production of the Classic Method, whose main characteristic is refermentation in the bottle.
Bèlon du Bèlon uses this method to obtain the best results but the secret lies in the care of the grapes, in its meticulous washing before pressing to obtain a pure wine.
The must is fermented in small French oak barrels and partly in steel tanks. During the bottling phase, liqueur de tirage is added, containing wine, selected yeasts and mineral substances. The yeasts will transform the sugars into carbon dioxide, giving rise to foaming, or the typical effervescence of sparkling wine. The process also includes the delicate phase of remouage, in order to eliminate the sediment making it flow towards the neck of the bottle. After the elimination, with the so-called liqueur d'expedition, a secret blend is made on which many of the characteristics that make Bèlon du Bèlon wines unique depend. And after three years of patient waiting, grape extract becomes a fine Franciacorta bubble.
The technological cellars where the grapes rest are under the assiduous supervision of Paolo Perin who follows all the transformations and treatments, strictly observing all the rules of the Consortium for the Protection of Franciacorta, even if they are studying an ideal environment to become autonomous, investing to improve the product even better.
This meticulous and careful processing leads us to have excellent wines that contain the characteristics of a territory, unique flavors and synonymous with quality. Wines recognized and awarded also by The Wine Hunter Awards
