The Delights of Cupin: a blend of Ligurian and Tuscan traditions

The company The Delights of Cupin is located in Liguria between the provinces of Imperia and Savona, but its roots are deeply embedded in the tradition and culture of a small town in the inland area of Albenga: Costa Bacelega.
It is a small fraction of the Municipality of Ranzo in the province of Imperia that has about 50 inhabitants but boasts a history of dedicated people focused on agriculture and nature in general. The village, situated atop a hill, reveals its beauty amidst a real "forest" of olive groves, cultivar taggiasca.

And it is from this wonder that its founder embraced the desire to offer the final consumer healthy, genuine, and above all nature-respecting products.

At the helm of The Delights of Cupin is Marco Donato, who is always in search of good and genuine products to prepare delicious recipes, all without preservatives or added colors. Only selected raw materials from the best Ligurian and Tuscan producers. Currently, the company relies on an external laboratory for packaging. This collaboration allows The Delights of Cupin to incorporate some Tuscan influences that we find, for example, in Pappa al Pomodoro.

Curiously, the name of the company comes from a phrase of the grandmother: "take the cupin," which in Ligurian dialect means small jar or bowl.

Every delicacy signed by The Delights of Cupin is 100% genuine: it contains no preservatives, colorants, additives, thickeners, sweeteners, or flavor enhancers. The products, which meet high standards certified by CE Mark, are made only with raw materials selected from the best Italian producers and naturally flavored with spices and sea salt.

The Delights of Cupin offers a selection of healthy and genuine preserves that capture the flavor of nature. For example, you can try the excellent extra blackberry jam made only with the freshest products and cane sugar, just like you would make at home. Or the Pappa al Pomodoro which is prepared according to the ancient Tuscan recipe, when it was a dish used by grandparents as a very simple yet flavorful meal. This sauce consists of tomatoes and softened Tuscan bread, basil, extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper. Here it is... Nothing more, nothing less. Simple ingredients, a tribute to Italian agricultural tradition.
