The birth of a Trentino legend
L&' company was founded in 1902 in Trento by Giulio Ferrari who had the dream of creating a wine in Trentino capable of comparing itself with the best French Champagnes. He was the first to spread Chardonnay in Italy, which is the main grape variety used in the production of sparkling wine.
In 1952 Ferrari decided to sell its business but, having no children, was looking for a successor with the same passion to whom he could entrust his dream. He thus chooses Bruno Lunelli, owner of a & #39, from among the various suitors; a wine shop in Trento that, thanks to &' commitment and dedication, manages to increase production without compromising on quality.
Thus began between the years &' 70 and the early 2000s, a family tradition that will continue over the years: Bruno Lunelli handed down his passion to his children Franco, Gino and Mauro, and thanks to them Ferrari became a leader in Italy and the Italian toast par excellence. In these years, some labels have been launched that will go down in history: Ferrari Rosé, FerrariPerlé and the Giulio Ferrari Reserva del Fondator.
Today, the third generation of the Lunelli family, consisting of Marcello, Matteo, Camilla and Alessandro, keeps the Ferrari tradition and dream alive.
