Biscottificio Guerra was founded in Mercatello sul Metauro, a small town in the province of Pesaro and Urbino in the Marche region. In this village, the two brothers Marco and Antonio begin their adventure.
The Guerra brothers both have a background marked by great experience in the field of pastry, in fact Antonio attended courses in prestigious Italian and French schools, such as l&' Ecole Lenôtre and the Patisserie Paillasson; he then traveled as a consultant and teacher in various parts of the world including Siberia, China, Canada, Germany, France and even the Arab Emirates. Antonio then became a teacher at the “Arte Dolce” school in Rimini.
Marco's journey is also long and full of experience. He is a lover of healthy pastry and an expert connoisseur and experimenter of natural yeasts based on enzymes, and his talent allows &' the company to constantly develop healthy and organic products.

The ingredients for their products are strictly selected and come from natural productions. The origins are certified and the products do not contain flavors, dyes or preservatives.

One of the most used ingredients is monococcus spelt, or enkir, an ancient cereal progenitor of &' current wheat. From it, yellow flour can be obtained, with which it is possible to prepare bread, leavened products and pasta. Monococcus spelt is rich in proteins, carbohydrates and fibers. In addition to these important nutrients, it also contains vitamins such as carotenoids, tocopherols and minerals, especially zinc, iron and manganese. All these characteristics allow it to guarantee better digestibility.
