A family-run business that has been passed down for two generations. What has united LiSicily over the years is indeed the passion, combined with sacrifice, hard work, and the desire to reinvent itself.
The Puglisi family works every day to offer their customers a service of quality and good, genuine products.
The goal has always been to bring traditional sweets to the table, delighting those who decide to indulge in a sweet moment.
But why "LiSicily"? The name comes from the union of the two realities, or rather the two regions, that characterize this company: Liguria and Sicily.
For two generations now, a passion has been passed down, that which distinguishes the family of Angela Bonasera. For over 60 years, in fact, they have been dedicated to sweets production, based on traditional recipes.
It all began with Attilio and Pietro Puglisi, when in 1955 they opened the first company: a family-run pastry shop.
Subsequently, in 1986, the family and the business faced a significant change: the relocation to Alassio.
As soon as an opportunity for growth presented itself, the Puglisi family seized it, and this decision allowed them to grow significantly from a professional standpoint.
Thus came the choice to bring Sicily to Liguria: with the typical sweets of their homeland, the Puglisi family tells their story and the uniqueness of their Sicilian roots.
Today, the second generation of the family is represented by Giuseppe Puglisi, son of Angela Bonasera, along with his wife Agata, Luigi, and Federico.
The descendants of Pietro and Attilio, together with the 12 employees, now produce typical Sicilian delicacies, but not only that: their love for the sweet world has driven them to want to produce typical sweets from the land where they have settled: Liguria.
LiSicily is, therefore, the story of a meeting, the union of flavors from two very distant and different lands, but in the eyes of the Puglisis, both represent home.
On one hand, we have the well-established tradition and Sicilian roots in their homeland, while on the other, there is Liguria, the place where the family business has thrived.
Paste di Mandorla and Baci di Alassio: the love for Sicily and Ligurian tradition walk hand in hand in the windows of LiSicily, alongside other delicacies, resulting from careful research and selection, to always ensure quality products and to make happy and satisfied all those who choose the artisanal sweets from the company.
