The Olive Factory: the birth of a family business with Sicilian origins

The passion for olives is a passion that has been handed down for more than generations.
The founder of The Olive Factory is Domenico Maiello, who in 2019 decided to give life to an olive processing and sales business.

However, the experience in the field begins much earlier: the paternal grandfather dedicated his free time to selling olives door-to-door, while the maternal grandfather had a stall at the Fuorigrotta market, where he sold olives, as well as cured meats and cheeses.

The turning point came in 1982, when Domenico and Maria's father founded a company named "Maiellolive Sud".

The founder of The Olive Factory has twenty years of experience. Over the years, in fact, Domenico has specialized in the preparation and sale of olives and related products.

Since 1979, the story of The Olive Factory is a true love story in the olive sector.
Tradition and innovation go hand in hand in the company, and the research and development of products and technologies have allowed the production of products with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, capers, and many others.

Today the company processes olives in Campania, specifically in Castellammare di Stabia, but the majority of the raw materials come from Sicily.
