The story of Lenti, which began more than 80 years ago, is made up of commitment, innovation and passion for the production of quality cooked hams. In the middle of the Belle Époque, on the banks of the Po, Attilio Lenti, the founder of &' company, was born. At only 9 years old, he followed his vocation, becoming an apprentice charcutier.
In 1935, Attilio Lenti founded the first plant in Turin for the production of cooked hams.From Germany, it acquires exclusively the Beisser patent, an innovative system for intra-arterial salting: a new way to flavor hams using all-natural flavors.
With the development of the business, the new plant in Santena was built, where cutting-edge technologies and consolidated production sensitivity converge, always under the careful management of the Lenti family.
The 1950s saw the evolution of the means of production with L&' introduction of the first mold for hams cooked in aluminum followed, a few years later, by another innovation: vacuum packing, which allows better preservation
of cooked hams.
