An all-Italian family story, made of passion, tradition and craftsmanship.

Our story began in the Sixties when the brothers Walther and Leo Carmonini, distributors at that time, took over the precious original recipe for the traditional Chiacchiere Salate recipe from a Ferrara baker. From that moment on, our family decided to carry on this tradition, keeping the recipe unchanged, selecting the ingredients carefully and respecting natural leavening times (20 hours!) as was done in the past when there were no additives.
We are a small artisanal company that looks big without forgetting our history.

Today we, Leo's children, run the company: Alessandro, Rita and Lorenzo, who, keeping the vision of the founders unchanged, allow us to still savor the same flavor of the past. The secret of our Chiacchiere Salate (dough, processing, leavening) is still jealously guarded and is the basis of our success.

We look ahead and without denying our Emilian roots, we study new products. This is how Fantapiada was born, a reinterpretation of the traditional piadina that is transformed into an original salty and crunchy snack.
Consistent with company values, simple, healthy and quality ingredients are used, without the addition of dyes and additives.
