A small family business born out of a passion for the hills and the fruits of the earth

This farm located in the first hills of Valpolicella, in the municipality of Verona, is a small family business. It's called San Dionigi and it was purchased in 1968 by his maternal grandfather. In the 2000s, the farm was renovated by Elettra's father who, after having dedicated himself to the legal sector for some time, fell in love with vineyards, olive trees and their precious products and was able, over time, to make the rest of the family fall in love with this extraordinary reality

Organic created by &' love, passion and respect for the territory

Love, passion and respect for the territory have led the company to acquire in &' August 2020 the organic certification that for this family represents a starting point, not an arrival. Today, San Dionigi has about 7 hectares, of which 5 are used as vines and 2 are dedicated to the cultivation of olive trees. L&' enormous variety of grapes that L&' the company has is extraordinary and almost all of them are exclusively native (Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara, Oseleta, Spigamonti, Croatina and Sangiovese). As far as olive trees are concerned, the cultivars are: Grignano, Leccino, Favarol

and Pendolino.

The specialization in &' d& #39 oil; olive: from product for family use to Veronese excellence

Initially produced for strictly family use, following several important awards, l&' organic extra virgin olive oil from &' the San Dionigi company

has also been available for sale for some years.

The production of &' oil in the area of &' east of Verona is extremely limited, which is why l&' the farm has decided to integrate its harvest with the olives of other small organic oil producers, who espouse the same philosophy and who have a very similar production in terms of organoleptic qualities. “The result of the blend immediately convinced us - says Elettra - a brilliant green oil with complex herbal scents with particular reference to the scents of sage, almond, wisteria and green pepper. Ours are products aimed at a competent and aware customer, who seeks the highest quality in the product.”

The 2018 harvest, says Elettra, gave great satisfaction: “our oil was included in Gambero Rosso's 2019 Guide to Italian Oils and in Slow Food's 2019 extra virgin olive oil guide.” Additional awards were the mention of merit in the 2019 Italian Gold National Award, the selection for the silver AIPO and the achievement of the first prize at the Oil Festival - City of Verona. Even 2020 brought satisfaction, despite being a demanding year from a meteorological point of view, l&' oil from &' San Dionigi farm has once again been included in Slow Food's

2021 Extra Virgin Guide.

The future projects of the &' Company

In 2022, the biggest project of the &' the San Dionigi company is taking shape: “a winery of our own, which gives our family the opportunity to realize and realize our ideas and our philosophy even in the world

of wine”.
