Gardini Cioccolato is an Italian artisan company that combines tradition and innovation in the production of high-quality chocolate. Founded by brothers Fabio and Manuele Gardini, the company has deep roots in family history and in the Emilia-Romagna territory.
Gardini: a family story
The passion for the pastry art of the Gardini brothers began at the end of the Fifties, when their maternal grandparents, Filippo and Mentana, opened a bakery. Later, their daughter Maria and her husband Gastone expanded the business, devoting themselves to pastry making and in 1976 founded Pasticceria Le Perle in Lido di Spina (FE), still active and a source of pride for the family. It is in this environment that Fabio and Manuele grew up, developing an ever-increasing interest in chocolate. In 1987, they began experimenting with this ingredient, turning their curiosity into a true passion that led them to become artisan chocolatiers and over time to become among the most awarded brothers by Compagnia del Cioccolato.
