The Founders of Be My Ghee
The founders of this brand are Marta Zanchetta and Alex Cavaglià.
Marta, born in 1994, grew up in the family business, the Zanchetta Artisan Dairy, focusing on the branding and commercial area, while Alex, born in 1991, has always been immersed in the food and agri-food world, managing a farmhouse in Marostica with his parents.
In 2018, Marta, thanks to her passion for natural and eastern cuisine, along with Alex, who from a young age joined the dairy team focusing on gastronomic production, and their father Riccardo, began a journey of discovering ghee with the goal of promoting its values, beneficial properties, and numerous culinary uses.
Thus, the brand "Be My Ghee" was born, giving life to the first ghee from the Zanchetta Artisan Dairy.
Be My Ghee is Sustainable!
The cows from which the dairy obtains the milk are "Grass Fed", meaning they are primarily fed high-quality grass from organic pastures. During transhumance, they feed on fresh grass, while in winter they consume hay produced directly on the farm. As for the calves, they stay with their mothers until fully weaned.
The Dairy holds organic certification that ensures the highest welfare for the animals, allowing dairy cows to live stress-free and produce superior quality milk.
