In Colbertaldo di Vidor, in the Prosecco Superiore hills, there is the beautiful wine-growing reality of the Adami family. A historic Prosecco winery.

Founded in 1920 by Abele Adami, the first vineyard that vinified was Le Rive. A very steep limestone amphitheater that offers the highest quality grapes. He separated the grapes in this vineyard from all the others and for the first time a Prosecco was the result of a single grape variety. Glera has always been l&' the decisive grape of this denomination even if, in the oldest vineyards, you can still find Verdiso vines today.

Adami today represents one of the most famous realities of Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG. Over the years, it has earned itself the podium of quality producers by right. Winner of prizes at international competitions, since its inception, it has established itself on the most important Italian and foreign guides. Every year Tre Bicchieri, 5 bunches, Corone and 90 points on Wine Spectator, represent the quality constant pursued over time by the family and recognized by experts and critics from all over the world.

Today Franco and Armando represent the new generation that is taking the' an adventure on the hills of Colbertaldo to the future, helped by their children. Franco must be given the great credit for having brought the name of Prosecco to DOCG and to the Valdobbiadene and Conegliano Prosecco Superiore denomination. A great coordinating work that bears the name of being recognized as a Patrimony of &' Humanity by &' Unesco.
