Birra del Parco: scopri i prodotti

Birra del Parco was established in 2016 in Abbiategrasso (Lombardia), in the area of the Ticino Natural Park, thanks to the initiative of Andrea and Alberto who wanted to create a modern agricultural company dedicated to the cultivation of the best raw materials for their brewery.

From the beginning, their goal has been to produce authentic zero-kilometer craft beers, fully enhancing the human and agricultural resources of the territory.

Founding members Marco and Sara joined, and the company expanded its activity from 7 hectares of traditionally cultivated land to 30 hectares managed organically.

The company is constantly committed to research and experimentation, both in the fields and in the brewery, currently offering a complete Classic line and a Reserve line, entirely Italian, produced with over 90% organic raw materials grown directly on their land, including Parco Hops.

The beers produced are simple and clean, able to meet the diverse tastes of customers, also thanks to the fact that every time a new beer is produced, it is tested in the brewery to receive direct feedback from enthusiasts.

Birra del Parco is continuously evolving with its beers, indeed it constantly engages with publicans, restaurateurs, and enthusiasts, creating lasting relationships with people who embrace the company's philosophy.

A careful and punctual service is also offered, giving the same importance to cultivation and production.

The Hops of Birra del Parco

The idea of cultivating hops on the farm arises from the aim of using all raw materials from the company itself for beer production.

From 2016 to 2018, the cultivation of hops was experimented in collaboration with the University of Tuscia (VT) until the structure was built and the first two varieties of American hops, Chinook and Cascade, were planted.
When the first flowers were harvested, they were used to produce Birra del Parco's first fresh hop IPA: smelling the hops spreading throughout the brewery was a great satisfaction for the company.

In 2019, they increased the hop cultivation area by adding a new variety of German origin, Hallertauer Magnum, and in 2021, Sorachi Ace plants were also introduced.

The Importance for the Territory

Birra del Parco enhances biodiversity in its lands and the sustainability of its production.

The landscape of the Ticino Natural Park is defined by the river and its valley, which make up an area of great biodiversity. In addition to watercourses, the territory hosts woods, heaths, wetlands, agricultural plains, and wood plantations, making it a significant reference point for agriculture.

Besides beer, Carnaroli rice, seasonal organic vegetables, and excellences from local producers are also sold.

The company's dream of producing agricultural beer directly with raw materials from their land is taking shape in recent years, increasing internal production of the Reserve line consisting of two beers: Parco IPA and Parco PILS.

These are 100% Italian beers cultivated directly in their fields; the number of bottles produced is limited as it depends on natural factors.
