Pack of about 60-65 oranges, all of the Washington Navel quality, which is one of the finest oranges from the DOP Ribera, the so-called “navel oranges.”

The organic oranges from Vito Perricone are produced within the DOP area of Ribera oranges. One of the most prestigious areas in the world for the production of sweet navel oranges. These oranges have a thick skin, a navel, and an average weight of 250 g. Normally spherical or oval in shape, they have 11 segments and an abundant light orange juice, with a sugar/acids ratio of 12. Seeds are absent. They are excellent oranges for the table or for juicing. Their juice is also ideal for making delicious orange cakes.

For their size and the absence of seeds, they are excellent as a dessert.

We also recommend a simple traditional Sicilian recipe, which is to eat them in a salad with some wild fennel, a few drops of extra virgin olive oil, and a pinch of sea salt (in Sicily, onion and olives are often used as well). They are superb.

The unprocessed skin can be used to flavor cooking bases for white meats, to be grated into batter for sweet dough; ideal, as mentioned earlier, for being candied and sugared on the surface.
