The Frescolio di Cutrera is a very fresh oil just pressed with all the characteristics of the best new oil. The cultivar is Moresca, which offers particularly fruity oils. The production area is Vittoria - Chiaramonte - Acate at an altitude of about 150-200 meters. It is not filtered and thus retains all the properties of the freshly harvested fruit.

Frantoi Cutrera, Sicily

Cutrera is an important name in olive oil production in Sicily. It is located in Chiaramonte Gulfi in the province of Ragusa, in the picturesque territory of the Iblei Mountains. A blessed land for the production of great oils, particularly the DOP Monti Iblei. The Cutrera family has 50 hectares on hills that reach about 350/450 meters above sea level and started its activity in 1979 thanks to the brilliant and innovative contribution of wife Maria. They moved from a manual olive press powered by mules to mills with stone grinders, and finally to modern continuous steel mills. Papa Giovanni has handed over the reins to his children and their respective spouses, but his charismatic presence is still felt in the company. Cutrera is a name that has earned international recognition, such as:
