The Riso Vialone Nano Mappato Extra from the Linea San Marco is a rice that has been scrupulously sorted and selected using optical sorting, processed according to the strictest standards of tradition. The Extra rice is of superior quality and ensures better cooking consistency and the integrity of vitamins. Excellent from a nutritional standpoint: this rice boasts outstanding organoleptic properties that make it particularly recommended for high-end catering.
The Riso Vialone Nano is a typical product of the Verona and Mantova regions. It is characterized by being cultivated in irrigated areas with spring water and is one of the most appreciated rice varieties for preparing risotto, as it holds up very well during cooking. “Extra” means that the rice contained is of the highest quality, carefully selected, free from impurities and with a breakage percentage of grains lower than 1.5%. In full compliance with law 325 of 1958.
The Extra Mapped Vialone Nano Rice from the San Marco Line (which we present here in a 1kg package) is perfect for a typical recipe from Verona, namely the risotto all'isolana. This type of rice is suitable for both creamy and fluffy risottos. You can really unleash your creativity in the kitchen with a thousand recipes: radicchio and Asiago risotto, Amarone risotto, puntel risotto, pumpkin risotto, and much more.
