The Lugana Prestige comes from Trebbiano di Lugana grapes, which are now called Turbiana. All the selected grapes come from the Maiolo vineyard located behind the winery. These vines have an average age of 30 years. The must is obtained from a very soft pressing and the fermentation takes place in steel tanks.
Prestige is a Lugana of great sapidity and minerality with very fruity aromas that lean towards apple, pear, citrus, and some exotic nuances. On the palate, it is broad and fresh with a nice sapidity and a delicately soft finish.
Alcohol: 12.5% Vol.
Pairing. Excellent wine for raw fish such as scampi, Sicilian red prawns, oysters, and shellfish. Also pleasant with lake fish, especially with tench or lavarello risotto. It pairs well with medium-aged cheeses and as an aperitif alongside vegetarian savory pies. With noble cured meats such as Parma or San Daniele ham.
