The Custoza DOC is a denomination that offers wines made from a blend of indigenous and other international grape varieties that have been cultivated for many years among the morainic hills south of Lake Garda, in the municipality of Sommacampagna (VR).
Fresh and young lands for equally fresh and savory wines with a strong aromatic character.
The Custoza is a wine produced with a typical blend of the denomination: Garganega, Trebbianello, and Trebbiano Toscano. From these morainic lands, a Custoza is obtained that offers beautiful olfactory and aromatic sensations, fruity and floral with a nice citrus component along with Mediterranean shrub herbs. A pleasant savoriness and roundness dictated by a good glyceric component. The finish is delicately fruity.
Alcohol: 12.5% Vol.
Pairing: Ideal wine for seafood, both as an aperitif for tasty appetizers. Pairs well with traditional cured meats from Veneto and Mantova. It pleasantly accompanies fresh and creamy cheeses with a delicately acidic tendency.
